  • I would love to get started on this fun binder cover (http://bit.ly/cDZcYx), that I saw on Etsy, for my small notebook planner.

  • How fun! Unfortunately my sewing has taken a little bit of a backseat, but for a great reason – I am setting up my new sewing/craft room. I am so excited for it to be done and then I will be all set to work on dress redo that has been sitting in my closet for far too long.

  • Erica:

  • I made a pleated shoulder bag for myself a couple of weeks ago and now my sister wants a slightly larger one to carry her school stuff in, she just can’t pick out a fabric! So as soon as she chooses a fabric I’ll be on my way :-)

  • Tiffany:

I’m in between projects right now, but I just finished up a pencil skirt and a grocery bag. I think next I’ll probably start an apron. My sister wants a new diaper bag, so I might give that a try :)

  • Danelle:

Right now I am working on a bunch of things: a baby bjorn cover, hooded towel & washcloth gift set, burp cloths, & a pillowcase top w/matching ruffle pants for my daughter. Whew-that’s a lot of stuff-better get back to the sewing machine!

  • Suzi:

Currently I’m working on a block a month quilt. Sadly, I’m about two months behind right now… I should get sewing!

  • Maria McClure:

So glad I stumbled across your site! It’s inspiring in so many ways… The project I am currently working on is organizing a bazaar for local artisans and crafters. We have several quilters and seamstresses and this calendar would make a fantastic gift for one of them. If I’m not fortunate enough to win this giveaway, where can I buy one?
    Thanks! Maria
PS: I would LIKE to be learning how to sew :)

She’ll learn basic stitching, gathering, hemming, applying ric-rac, turning fabric for the ties, and that’s all I can think of right now. She doesn’t know it yet, but I’m also secretly making a miniature version of the apron using the same materials which I’ll put on a doll hanger for her to have.

  • I *wish* I were working on my daughter’s quilt for her first birthday that was two weeks ago (yikes!) or the loads of projects to finish before my first ever craft fair in a month. Tonight though, tonight.

But I’m working on a Winnie the Pooh cross stitch bookmark, a crochet blanket for a friend of mine, and a knitted pair of wristwarmers for myself… although those haven’t actually been cast on yet! If I could sew, I’d be making myself a lunch bag and some cute rags to use when I’m painting.

  • The question is how much time do you have :) The short list is: hand quilting a quilt for my sister, sewing a dress for a friends 1 year old, and looking at starting a quilt along that I found here: http://www.ohfransson.com/oh_fransson/2010/08/tokyo-subway-map-quilt-basics-and-supplies.html

  • I wish I were working on the quilts I want to make for my little girl and soon to be baby boys room. Just haven’t been able to make up my mind about the fabric I want.
