Rain for Luck
Yesterday my cousin, Jessica was married. She was such a beautiful bride. And the best part is she is as sweet and kind as she is beautiful.
She married a cheeky South African, Garreth who has a heart of gold.
It was a beautiful wedding… and outside the rain fell in buckets.
It took me back to my own wedding when the rain was torrential. And I remembered how all our guests said it’s good luck for it to rain at your wedding.
I look back over the past eighteen years and think off all Drew and I have been through together. It hasn’t always been easy… but at least we’ve been lucky in love…
I wish Garreth and Jessica the same luck… that no matter what they face in life, that they can face it together. And in the end… that’s the best luck of all.
What a beautiful couple. I like how you say whatever you face, that you can face it together. My dh & I have been married 13 years and it feels like eternity and yet only a moment. I am lucky in love as well…and so grateful.
