Several years ago I bought a bracelet for my daughter for Christmas. It had three charms with the words courage, strength, and believe on them. She loved the bracelet and wore it constantly until it wore out. At the time she was in college and going through some trying experiances. She shared with me that those words on the charms helped her perservere. If I were to win this gift certificate, I would use it to buy her a new bracelet or necklace to replace the old one.

  • Those are so pretty! I love the “heart on a string”. We are getting ready to adopt a fourth child into our family, and I would love something with all four kids’ names on it.

    I like the new look/blog!

  • I rarely comment. But, these Silver Lime Jewelry are precious.

I am not sure what my biggest passion is. Something along the lines of Faith or The struggle gives us the strength to fly… And cats… LOL. :-)

    This is tough.

  • Andrea:

My passionate is definitely my family. My husband and I are going to celebrate our one year wedding anniversary here in the next two months. He has taught me so much about life, love, and growing up. He has made me a better person. He thinks he’s the one who is lucky, but I am really the one who is lucky.

  • Bethaney Parkin:

Wild at heart – Just a reminder that in my every day life the crazy beautiful girl is still deep down in there!

  • Sara:

Thank you for sharing this website. I was looking for something special for a friend who lost her husband about two months ago. I wanted to get her something personal, with his name on it – but I didn’t know what. I love the style of Silver Lime & immediately placed an order for a necklace for her upon seeing this post. Thank you for helping me find the perfect way to let her know I’m thinking about her.

  • My passion is my children. I’m a home schooling mom of three kids and I really feel like the future of society rests on the roles mothers play in the family. I really feel like no success compensates for failure in the home.

This year I feel like God is directing us to have another baby. This is really hard for me to humble myself and accept His will.

I struggle a lot with the trial of pregnancy because I get hyperemisis and require IV nutrition. I literally can’t do anything for myself for half of the pregnancy and I waste away like a concentration camp victim as the vomiting saps all nutrients and energy. It’s frightening to think about going through it again, but I know in my heart that this is God’s will for me.

My necklace would say “Be Grateful”, with the shape of a bird to soar above all trials. I would want to be reminded of all the little things that bless my daily life- my children’s smiles, my sweet husband’s love for me, anything that takes my mind away from the pain.

  • Karen:

I have a daughter in-law that runs, and runs and runs – so I really love your necklace that says that. She loves jewelry. Running is her business and her passion. People come to her asking advice all the time and she is always eager to help. I would love to get the necklace with the words ‘I run’, along with a heart and some other trinket. I’m sure she would love it!

  • Thanks for sharing this site, so many cute things! I’m about to have my second child and would love a necklace with their names on the charms.

  • I love the nature elements (tree, starfish, bird) that are incorporated with the words. Simply gorgeous!

  • Calli:

Your new website is BEAUTIFUL! You are so talented and I appreciate you sharing that!
I would of course love the gift certificate. I am toying with some new ventures in my life. So right now I would want one saying, “BEGIN”

  • First of all, I love your website. Have loved your blog and shared it with others.

Not sure about my passion. I love a lot of things. But I wouldn’t want “things” on a beautiful piece of jewelry. I love my family a lot, but I’ve been let down by a lot of people in my life and, in the process, have learned that the only one I can fully trust is God. So while I don’t yet know EXACTLY what I would put on a piece of Silverlime jewelry, I know it would be something about God always being there for me or always having my best in mind. And I also know that I would choose a ring. Rings are my favorite pieces of jewelry.

  • Absolutely my family is first and foremost. I’d love to have a necklace with my kiddos’ names. Thank you for the giveaway.

  • abby:

    I love the limealicious bracelet!
My kids are my limelight….when things have been tough, they have been my rock, and they know that, and thrive in that role in their lives!

  • Gynnab:

The Sea Calls to Me… wow that necklace just speaks to me! My passion unfolds when it comes to nature and all things beautiful. There is nothing like watching waves breaking on the shore or birds taking off…. So peaceful and breathtaking.

  • Dad:

I love your new site! So refreshing!

  • Bonnie:

My passion is nature and conservation, and the tree charm would be a perfect companion to some of my favorite quotes.

  • mandy sadler:

I would get a necklace for my sister-in-law who is having a new baby girl…

  • Such beautiful items- the long silver tags and the alphabet “love letters” speak to me! My life is full of passions and loves: my husband, our children, our adventures as a military family, our friends (who are really our chosen family), and our hopes and dreams. About all of these things, I learn, and when possible, I teach and guide; fitting as I’m a kindergarten teacher.

    Thank you for the chance!

  • i love the loop chain and the saying leap and the net will appear. I also think the bling is adorable. fingers crossed.

  • Haley:

I love everything in their shop! It’s all so pretty! My passion is laughter, especially when shared with family and friends :)

  • I love this idea, wearing your passion!
I would choose the starfish that says Each Day Is A Gift. It’s the topic of a blog post I did last week and something near and dear to my heart.
Love your new look, I see you growing and going full steam ahead!

  • Erica:

I love the heart on a string. Thank you for a chance to win!

  • NGS:

My passion is in being healthy and active. I have a tendency to revert to couch potato status when I am unhappy or stressed out and I’m always reminding myself that I need to make myself a priority if I am to do anyone else any good!

  • each day is a gift! love it! my passion is strong friendship and community. we weren’t made to live life alone, and i am all about cultivating relationships, leaning on each other, and helping each other grow.

  • Cherie':

When I was a teenager everytime I left the house I was told “remember who you are and what you stand for” . It instilled in me a sense of personal worth and value. Now that I’m in my 30’s and have 4 kids of mine own this statement reminds me that I am a wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend. It is my passion to fulfill these roles to the best of my ability and to enjoy and live in the moment. I have loved reading everyone’s passions, best wishes to you all! Thank you Calli for your friendship and for sharing your wisdom with the world. I’m so glad to be apart of your life!!!!!

  • Kim B.:

Love these! Thanks for the chance!

  • Beth:

Hmmm, my passion. I love all things. First and foremost my family, my husband, my 2 wonderful children, my pets, quilting, boating and all that mother nature has to offer. I love trees, flowers and snow-capped mountains. I love creatures great and small. I just love life!

  • Bev Slater:

What a fresh and inspired concept Silver Lime Jewellery is! I am so passionate about so much but have a bad habit of waiting for the right time or circumstance or equipment or …. – you get the idea – before doing something! I have a good friend who really thinks I can do anything and always stands behind me saying “Just do it” !! It has become a mantra which has spurred me on to achieve many things and with a pendant reminder who knows what can be achieved!!!

  • Shaun:

My passion is my family ~ my husband, son, daughter-in-law and our two wonderful grandchildren. Spending time with them is what I love best!! I would love to have a necklace with their names stamped and a heart of some kind on it to remind me of the blessing of family everytime I wear it. And by the way, I made your blueberry coffee cake muffins last night. OMGoodness, they are sooo yummy!

  • Brooke:

I love the “each day is a gift” necklace. My passion is my family and I am constantly evaluating the job I have with them. I have some key words to help remind me of the path I want to follow. They include: Aware, live now, joy in the journey. Each day is a gift fits right in there too.

  • kris:

Love her stuff! All of it!
My passion is kids–my kids especially–but I love working with all kids.

My passion is my wonderful family…we have our struggles, but try to work through them as best we can. Congrats on the move!

  • Emily A.:

I really like the necklace that says “Everyday is a gift” Three of my family members have passed away this year and it would help me to remember them and that everyday is special and should be cherished.

  • 2 peas in a pod would be my fav necklace because it reminds me of where I work- Two peas in a bucket. My passion is my creative designing.

  • I need a lucky charm. My husband has just gone back to work after being out of work for 12 months. One of my daughters has gone to Summer Camp as a helper and has flown the nest for the summer (and we live over the pond – a long swim!)and my dad is fighting prostate cancer. A charm would help me be brave!

  • Kassie B:

I love the pleased as punch necklace. I’d love to have one with my kiddos names on it.

  • Hayde:

My passions are many, but the one that is the essence of who I am, the one that has made me the person that I am in my different roles as a mom, wife, daughter, sister, friend…was knowing and learning from my grandmothers, my aunts and my Mom. My passion in knowing that I have their DNA running through my body, therefore I am a little of everything they were, hardworking, giving, dedicated, graceful, loving, women, I draw from their strength and hope that I can pass along to my daughter a vision of who those women were and are to me and who my daughter can become.
Thanks for sharing your talents and your passions…

  • Angie:

My passion is my family. My husband and my children make every single day worth living. I am not sure which jewelry piece I’d like best, but it will have to be something with their names on it ;)

    Thanks
    Angie

I love the silverlime jewelry and i would love mine to say “live” because life can get so overwhelming and it is so easy to focus on our trials so I would like to be reminded everyday that I need to live my life.

  • Mary White:

What beautiful jewelry! I would want my Silver Lime to show my passion for my family, my loving boyfriend, and my career, Dental Hygiene! I think a little tooth and toothbrush charm necklace would be darling!

    Love your website!

    Mary White

  • Fran Carnes:

I am a three-year breast cancer survivor who believes every day is special, and indeed, each day is a gift. I don’t complain when it rains, or when I’m in pain, or having a bad day. I am truly grateful for being able to record each day’s sunrise. The gift of life is the best true gift.

  • Marj:

I love all of the jewelry but especially the one with the starfish that says that every new day is a gift. I am a cancer survivor and am grateful for each new day that I am allowed to live and love and to spend time doing the things I love for those I love.

  • What a great giveaway! My passion is creating and living.

  • Melia:

I love the initial necklaces. They are adorable.

  • toni:

my passion is my being mom to my two beautiful little girls.

  • I have been creating a lot of ocean and beach subject projects lately and “the sea calls to me” seems to be telling me things.

  • Melanie:

I think after looking at all the jewelery, I have too many passions. Family and faith are the most important pieces of my life. However, my hobbies have turned into secondary passions. I always have yarn, fabric and books within arm’s reach. Some quotes that come to mind for me are, “love what you have,” “listen,” and ‘When in doubt do nothing.”

  • Sarah W.:

This jewelry is amazing. I’m drawn to the tree charm. I definitely like the idea of incorporating family…or love into jewelry.

  • Kellybeth:

I have so many passions…my church, my Girl Scout troops, my poetry, but the story I would want told is that of my high school sweetheart, Andrew, and I. Those hand stamped rings could fit a small part of our long story, which began in high school chess club. We’re getting married next year, and I would love for our rings to tell a story. They would be stamped with our pet names, Arthur and Fenchurch, and the dates of both our first kiss and our wedding.

  • Maria:

These are so great…very subtle but full of style and impact. Gardening is my passion…no matter what. I’m outside in my garden cutting, digging, planting. I think a cute charm of a trowel would be awesome! Thanks for sharing.

  • 4 1/2 years ago my mom became very, very ill. She was given less than a 20% chance of survival. My 2 sisters & I clung to each other & our dad through this time. Those first days were torture. Being a family of faith I clung to that belief & soon all of us were clinging to one word, “Believe”.
Though my mom died 5 months later (she wasn’t expected to make it through the 1st 48 hrs) – it was a time for all of us to grow together.
To this day – I “believe”. 2 1/2 years after my mom died – I was diagnosed with cancer. I “believed” and I am a survivor!
I would love the ring, as I have a plain sterling silver band with little gold footprints. On the inside is engraved – “it was then that I carried you” = a favorite line from the Footprints poem. I would wear the 2 rings side by side.

I really loved this jewelry. I am not sure which exactly I would pick, but am leaning towards either the one which says that memory lives on in your heart with the small circle with my late husbands name on it. I also love the one that life is a gift as that is so true.

  • kristenp:

I love the hand stamped rings! When I was a younger teen I decided to live for God and not for myself and I bought a cheap little silver ring to wear to remind me of my decision. The back of my ring broke last summer after 8 years and it’d be awesome to have a ring that won’t fall off :)

  • Elissa:

Running. It keeps me sane. It gets me through the day. It gets me through difficult times. No matter what. I know that when the world has got me down I can always go for a run. Running is always there for me. It is the constant in my life. It gives me strength. It helps me to believe in myself. Running is me. I am running.

  • Nichole:

I love your new site, and I love the fabulous items at Silver Limes! My passion would be my family – husband and kids – and I would love a piece of jewelery to reflect that. Thanks for the chance to win!

  • Dejah:

I love the “crazy dreamer” necklace. Love the new site!

  • My passion is scrapbooking, my kids & the beach. Any of those would be a fun story to tell. I also would use the iwalk since the irun wouldn’t fit as well, lol. I love the limes of my life necklace!

  • Jenn Giroux:

I adore the “love letters” – so cute!

  • Meghan:

What a lovely site! (Well, both yours and Silverlime’s) I love the “lime squeeze” necklace. As for a story to tell, I think my little music students would get a kick out of their teacher wearing a necklace with her favorite music quote: “Sing for your lives!”

  • Katie Jo:

First of all, the new site looks gorgeous! Well done, Make-it-do!

As for Silver Lime, as much as I am smitten with those rings, I think my favorite is that little tree charm… but mine would say “from the root to the fruit”.

  • Great name and beautiful jewelry! I would love to let my BFF know how cool I think it is that she has become a runner for life! “Run like a girl!”
