In Your Bonnet Giveaway!

Friday afternoon, Kerry from In Your Bonnet dropped me a line.

In Your Bonnet wanted to do a giveaway for the readers of Make it Do!

The giveaway includes their two best selling products, my favorite tube of Heel Thyself and a 4 oz. tin of Bee Balm.

I’ve told you all about how much I LOVE Heel Thyself.

Kerry shared with me more information about Bee Balm, and I can’t wait to try it on our next skin problem.  Kerry said, “We have nicknamed the Bee Balm “miracle in a tin” as it treats so many skin problems.  We have loyal customers using it for dry skin, burns, insect bites, rashes, eczema, and fever blisters.  The 4 oz. tin is nice for home and the 1 oz. tin is perfect for purse or sewing kit.”

Let me also tell you a little more about In Your Bonnet.  Kerry Green and her sister Paula Gonzales are hobby bee keepers.  They began In Your Bonnet after researching  the healing and moisturizing qualities of various herbs and oils.

Kerry said, “Paula and I formulated the recipes and make all the products ourselves. We use only the best natural ingredients and carefully combine them to preserve their integrity.”

Here’s how to enter:

Click over to In Your Bonnet and take a look around.

Come back and leave a comment about which product you would love to try most.

And the giveaway rules are:

Only one comment per person
Comments will be closed Wednesday, August 11, 2010 at 10:00 Mountain Daylight Time
Winner will be chosen randomly
Winner will be announced on Thursday, August 12

These products look great! I’m always on the hunt for natural products for my family to use. I would love to try their Mud Puddle mask – the name is cute too!

  • I looked at the products and read some of her blog. The beekeeping is fascinating to me. Sorry to be boring, but I would most love the heel cream. My heels would be happy!

  • tracy_a:

I need some Heel Thyself. But the soaks also sound lovely! I would love to keep bees someday!

    • Ooh, thanks for this new discovery……….clay soak looks intriguing………maybe the bag balm, though, for those first-of-the-summer sunburns we always seem to get, despite the sunblock.

  • Heel Thyself – for once I was cracked and now I am healed! I don’t know if this is a wish on my mental state or my heels but I would love to give this a try . . . I am cracked (both mentally and my heels! :)

  • I would love to win the Heel Thyself – I am considering buying it anyways since my feet are dry year round, and lotions don’t work :-)

  • Bethaney Parkin:

Heel Thyself would be the product I would like to try! Anything to make those feet look better!

  • Oh how I’d enjoy trying these products! I’m a follower, and have visited In Your Bonnet. Heel Thyself would be such a treat for my dry summer tootsies. The bee balm would help soothe and heal my cracked stitchy fingers. Either way you can’t go wrong:)

  • Loyce:

I have awful heels and would love to try Heel Thy Self. I also like natural products. I have tried every product out there and have not found anything that would work on by heels. It would be awesome to finally have a product that works.

  • The peppermint lip balm sounds wonderful! I always need lip balm when icy wind blows in the fall/winter/spring. Heel Thy Self would be a close second…

  • Megan Sullivan:

Heel Thyself would be the one i would want to try the most. I have always had cracked heels and if this stuff works the way it says it does than it would be a lifesaver.

  • Stacey:

I would love to try the Heel Thy Self. I grew up in the south and never had problems with my heels. Now that I have settled here in Utah my feet are horrible. I would love to see if this product helps. I have tried a ton of different things!

  • Cari:

The lip balm looks yummy, but I think I’d go with the foot balm like you suggest.

  • Kimberli:

Oh my! My feet AND my pedicurist (is that a word?) would both love it if I tried Heal Thyself! Summer is so hard on feet!

  • The Heel Thyself and Bee Balm look to be fantastic products. I am an addict for a good peppermint lip balm, and would probably have to put that product on top, but I have use for all three and other In Your Bonnet products. Thanks for introducing us to this wonderful company.

  • I would love to try Heel Thyself. I might just have to buy a few, and pop them into my mom’s and SIL’s stocking as well, if we can wait that long!

  • LBB:

    I’d love the Heel Thyself.

  • Megan Rinke:

I would really like to try Heel Thyself… just had to replace my sheets because my rough heels worn them down!

  • I want to try the honey! The real thing — The “Natural Utah Honey”! I love honey. :-)

By the way, I looked at this site several days ago and was sorely tempted to get both “Heel Thyself” and “Bee Balm”. But, I was just too scared to spend that money without first trying it out.

And now, I got to wait 4 weeks before I can splurge for items like these because we’re just started a “no spend” period.

Winning these would be awesome because I can try them out for free. And, if I like, I’d buy for sure!

  • Carol A:

The heel Thyself would be great. My heels need alittle tlc with wearing fip flops all the time. The site was great and I would like to try several of the products.

  • Paula:

Kerry Green is a really talented lady, now the “bees”. I truly need help with my summer feet.

  • Lori C.:

I am such a lip balm gal! You will always find me with a variety of chap stick’s in my purse or pocket! I would love to try her peppermint lip balm! • robin:

I have had a HORRIFIC time with my feet since I moved west and the summer has just added to the problem. I would love to try the heel cream…..

  • The ‘sleepytime’ bath salts look wonderful and the Heel Thyself sounds like something I need!!

    What a great site!

  • Christina Sims:

I am a lip balm girl and most definitely would love these! I’d have to say though that the Mud Puddle Masque would be super relaxing, especially if the kiddos were spending the night at their grandparents and I could actually relax in quiet.

  • What an amazing shop! I am so addicted to B&B items – just ask my family :)
Would love to try the Moisturizing Hand and Body Lotion in Vanilla Bean! LOVE vanilla!!

  • Kassie B:

I would love to try the lipbalm & the heel thyself.

  • After I read your first post about the products at In Your Bonnet, I immediately visited their shop website and blog… My uncle used to keep honey bees and when I was a little girl I loved helping him retrieve the combs for honey and wax. I love to use products made with beeswax (I love the natural feel and smell of it!). If I don’t win any of their “Heel Thyself” balm, I’m going to buy some with my first paycheck of the schoolyear!

  • girlsmama:

I think I would love to try all their products, but I’m a sucker for a good bath so the Good Earth Clay Soak looks yummy.

  • Crystal:

  • Kiki:

Love the website – I ordered Heel Thyself, but would love to try the Bee Balm.

  • Becky Zolt:

I love following your projects for your kids. Finally, something just for you! I live in Florida and spend lots of time barefooted. The Heel Thyself would be perfect for me! Let’s stretch summer out as long as we can….

  • Lisa:

I would LOVE to try “heel thyself”. I have diabetes and as a result my heels get very dry and crack open. They get very sore sometimes. I have tried everything. This would be such a blessing.

  • I would really like to try the Heel Thyself after reading your review of it. I have ‘summer heels’ and they need help!

    je2kids(at)yahoo(dot)com

Definitely Heel Thyself. Summer has been brutal on my feet.

  • Kristina H.:

I really want to try the heel thyself!

  • Cool giveaway, thanks! The “Wake Up Call” or “Sleepytime” bath salts look divine. Although, as a farmer with perpetually dry hands, Bee Balm or the Berry Body Butter are very (dare I say sorely?) tempting. :)

  • I was really intrigued with your post on these products earlier. The Heel Thyself is what I can’t wait to try.

  • Dayna:

I think I want to try one of everything! Seriously, though, my first choice would be the Bee Balm for my sweet son. His hands crack and bleed all winter due to eczema; the colder it gets, the worse his hands are, and guess where he’s living for 2 years? That’s right, ALASKA!!!! If we could find something that will help him, I’d buy it by the truckload!

  • I checked their site and give kudos to anyone starting a small business!
I’d like to try the heel cream, the lipbalm looks great too.

  • Tracy E:

I would love to try some Heel Thyself! What awesome products!

  • Heel thyself! I have serious cracks in my heels. I have to limp when I first get up in the morning! Thanks for the chance to win this product!

  • Shannon L.:

  • I would love to try the Herbal Detoxifying Bath Tea. I love the idea of relaxing in the tub, with beautiful scents surrounding me and my body detoxifying all at the same time. Sounds like heaven!

  • I detoxed my beauty routine about a year ago and am always on the lookout for natural non-toxic products. I think I’m sold on the “Heel Thyself” balm. I walk everyday and my feet really take a beating! I’d love to be able to try it out through the give-a-way! Fingers Crossed!

  • suzy:

It would absolutely have to be “Heel Thyself” – I’ve actually seen a doctor for my feet, he said I have some form of incurable dermatitis, not dangerous but also not pretty. I’ve tried some naturals (tea tree for instance) which irritated. Thought I’d just have to live with the scales and bumps (not to mention peeling) but this product looks promising and I’ll be getting some soon.

I would love to try Heel Thyself! Every night, I put on Bath & Body’s Body Butter and socks. For the really rough spots, I use vaseline, but it’s so icky and greasy. Thanks!
